Andy Murrie focuses exclusively on asbestos litigation representing victims who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma or lung cancer as a result of exposure to asbestos. He has practiced in this area for about 14 years, filing cases in multiple jurisdictions throughout the country, with the majority filed in St. Louis City and Madison County, Illinois.
Murrie serves as an “air traffic controller” during case workup, supported by numerous attorneys and paralegals with specialized roles. In 2025, he resolved multiple high value cases before trial, achieving the largest overall settlement volume in his time with the firm.
In 2022, Murrie tried a case against Ford Motor Company on behalf of the family of Linda Behling, who had died of mesothelioma. The jury returned a $6 million verdict — the first case he had been involved in from signup to verdict.
Murrie and his wife are actively involved with the ALS Association in St. Louis, hosting an annual walk in Forest Park to raise money for a cure.
