Justin Hardin has devoted 20 years to medical malpractice defense, building a reputation as a strong advocate who cooperates well with opposing counsel. In 2025 alone, Hardin tried two cases representing ophthalmologists in separate trials, earning defense verdicts in each.
In one memorable matter, he represented a primary care physician sued after a patient had her leg amputated, ultimately proving the disputed calls were made by the patient’s mother — not the plaintiff.
Hardin serves as program chair for DRI’s Medical Liability and Health Care Law committee. Representative clients include Washington University and Medical Protective. He said “navigating them through the lawsuit and achieving a just result is very gratifying.”
