Lee Dempsey, a founding member of Dempsey Kingsland Osteen, focuses his practice on medical malpractice and personal injury cases, often representing people injured by reactions to immunizations seeking to recover against the federal government under the Vaccine Injury Compensation Act.
In 2023, Dempsey represented the family of a 52-year-old Kansas veteran and father of five who died of congestive heart failure following repeated visits to a federally qualified health center, settling a lawsuit against the federal government for $1 million. Also that year, he secured a $4 million settlement for a girl afflicted with transverse myelitis after receiving childhood vaccines.
Dempsey serves on the board of governors for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
