Jim O’Leary represents victims of assault, negligent security and defective products in personal injury cases. O’Leary noted that he chose this work after his nine-year-old brother suffered third-degree burns over 85 percent of his body in a defective gas can explosion, inspiring him to fight for families the way his family’s lawyers had.
His notable results include a $21 million verdict for a defective medical device, a $10 million bad faith verdict in a nightclub shooting and a $9 million verdict, the largest at the time in Jefferson County, for a construction site fall.
O’Leary serves on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
