Tony Simon has spent more than 35 years practicing law, building a career centered on representing individuals and small companies against the world’s largest corporations. As founder of an intellectual property group, he has devoted more than two decades to patent and business litigation, protecting the IP rights of clients across the United States — with opponents including Google, Yahoo and Microsoft.
Simon has served as lead trial counsel in hundreds of patent, antitrust, copyright, trademark and IP cases in state, federal and appellate courts, and provides specialized knowledge as co-counsel on IP matters nationwide. Licensed in Missouri, Texas, Illinois, New York, California and other states, he serves a client base ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies.
Simon describes his leadership approach in a single word: listen. He urges young attorneys to ask questions of clients and the court alike when anything is unclear. “Don’t talk when the Judge is making your case for you against your opponent,” he said.
