Wrongfully convicted man settles against Scott County

Taxes? Not this year

St. Louis city's collector of revenue filed the fourth of five delinquent land tax suits for 2010 last month. The collector files suits every year against properties that have fallen three years behind on land taxes. If the property owners don't pay up within about a year, the city has the right to sell the properties for the amount of the existing tax lien.
