Armstrong Teasdale is adding an attorney to its St. Louis office and another to its Kansas City office. Partner Kelly A. Echols has joined the firm and will be working from both Kansas City and Salt Lake City. Associate Gabriela Baeza-Stout has joined the firm in St. Louis. They add to the roster of more than 340 attorneys at Armstrong Teasdale throughout the U.S. and U.K.
Echols is a patent attorney focused on advising clients and inventors as it relates to the chemical arts. He primarily counsels clients in the life sciences and industrial chemistry sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, waste conversion, clean tech, battery component and chemical companies. He draws upon his prior experience as in-house Director of Contracts and Patent Counsel for a major biopharmaceutical company, to assist clients in protecting their most critical products and assets.
Baeza-Stout is an attorney with years of experience both in-house and in private practice. She has broad experience in corporate and M&A matters, as well as in intellectual property as it relates to transactional law. While in-house for a major communications company, Baeza-Stout routinely negotiated and documented strategic M&A transactions and joint ventures, and managed post-merger corporate reorganization planning and execution.
