Relator filed a petition for writ of prohibition seeking an order directing respondent to cease operation of a “domestic abuse court,” which was an created by respondent, who placed defendants in the DAC as a special condition of their probation.

Where the DAC was not designated a treatment court division by the local circuit court rules and where respondent was not authorized to hear cases in treatment court divisions, the court issued a permanent writ of prohibition directing respondent to cease operation of the DAC.

Preliminary writ of prohibition made permanent.
