Defendant appealed her conviction for possession of a controlled substance, challenging the trial court’s denial of her motion for an additional competency evaluation.

Where there was sufficient evidence in the record to support the trial court’s determination that defendant was competent to stand trial at the time of trial, and the trial court consistently evaluated defendant’s competency throughout the trial, the court affirmed defendant’s conviction.

Judgment is affirmed.

State v. Ward (MLW No. 84872/Case No. SD39056 – 11 pages) (Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, Growcock, J.) Appealed from circuit court, Greene County, Myers, J. (Ellen H. Flottman, Columbia for appellant) (Karen Louise Kramer, Jefferson City; Ashley Nicole Twibell, Springfield; and Anna Marie Runestad, Springfield for respondent)
