The POWER List 2023: Susan E. Block

Susan Block was a judge in St. Louis County from 1979 to 2004, including seven years overseeing its juvenile court. Now she brings that experience to bear in private practice.
Block played instrumental roles in the Washington University Project for Children and Youth and the National Truancy Prevention Association. She also served on the juvenile law subcommittee of the Missouri Supreme Court’s Committee on Racial and Ethnic Fairness.
Missouri Lawyers Media has awarded her its ICON Award and named her Woman of the Year at the 2021 Women’s Justice Awards.
Block earned her law degree from Saint Louis University in 1975.
