Domestic Relations-Divorce-Child/Spousal Support

Staff Report//November 26, 2025//

Listen to this article

Mother appealed the divorce judgment, arguing that the trial court erred in denying spousal support, miscalculating child support, dividing the marital property and medical debts and failing to consider newly discovered evidence.

Where mother failed to demonstrate that her reasonable needs were not met and where the trial court imputed income to her because there was evidence of her ability to earn income, there was no error in denying spousal support, and the finding of marital misconduct supported an unequal division of marital property.

Judgment is affirmed.

Callow v. Callow (MLW No. 84020/Case No. ED113129 – 9 pages) (Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, Torbitzky, J.) Appealed from circuit court, Cape Girardeau County, Koester, J. (Jonathan D. Marks for appellant) (Darryl Ann Jenkins for respondent)
