Missouri law schools gain in U.S. News rankings

Love them or hate them, they’re out again: U.S. News & World Report released its 2015 Best Law Schools rankings Tuesday, and every Missouri law school gained in the rankings overall this year.

The state’s top-ranked school, Washington University’s law school, climbed a spot from 19th last year to 18th for 2015. Saint Louis University School of Law moved from 102nd to 93rd. The is at No. 64 this year, up from last year’s rank of No. 76. And the is ranked 104th, up from 109th.

The top spots overall went to Yale Law School, Harvard Law School and Stanford Law School.

SLU Law, which has for a decade had the nation’s highest-ranked health law program, ceded the top spot to the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. SLU Law’s health law program is ranked second.
