Kennyhertz Perry, Mission Woods, Kansas

The pair represented Kansas City sweepstakes and prize-mailer companies against the Federal Trade Commission and the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
Perry served as a senior trial attorney for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission before he co-founded Kennyhertz Perry in 2011. His practice centers commodities, derivatives, securities, financial institutions, the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act, technology, cybersecurity and compliance.
Before his time with the commission, Perry practiced at a firm that later absorbed into Husch Blackwell. He also worked at Mariner Holdings as a senior vice president of regulatory affairs and compliance.
Perry has served as a Mission Hills, Kansas councilmember since 2015. He also has served on the city’s Board of Zoning Appeals and its crime prevention and safety committee.
Perry earned his law degree from the University of Kansas in 2002.
