Beth C. Boggs is the majority owner of Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs, the largest law firm in Missouri to be certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
It also has a certification from the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms.
Boggs founded the civil defense firm in 1999. Boggs runs her own civil defense practice in construction defects, employment law, premises liability, transportation, civil rights, professional negligence, and defense in matters including civil rights, toxic torts, asbestos exposure and insurance matters.
Around 17 firm attorneys work with her at the firm, including name partner and member Victor T. Avellino. Boggs’ late husband Darin T. Boggs also worked as a name partner and member at the firm before his death earlier this year.
Boggs has been a leader in St. Louis charity work. In 2005, Boggs founded Step It Up, which helps St. Louis metro area and Metro East families in need with access to free shoes and socks. The Boggses also have been involved in efforts launched during COVID-19 lockdowns to provide food to families in need.
