2023 Unsung Legal Heroes: Amber Stroer

Amber Stroer “is the perfect example of grace under fire while she is doing seven or 20 things at once,” said one of her nominators. “Despite what the name says on the front door, Amber runs the show,” said another. And Stroer has only been at the firm – and in the legal field – for a little more than a year. Stroer has integrated herself into the fabric of the firm. She is professional, prudent and smart as a whip.
What led you to choose a career in the legal field?
From a young age, I have been interested in finding the truth and learning why and how the judicial system works. My fascination with law and my need to help others led me to the legal field.
What is something that would surprise people about you?
I have a degree in radio broadcasting from the St. Louis Broadcast Center and interned for local news talk 97.1 FM early in my career.
