2023 Unsung Legal Heroes: Angel’ Howard

Angel’ Pichon Howard rooted her decision to be a paralegal in her passion for making a positive impact and helping people. She hoped her presence in the profession could help bridge the gap between the justice system and the people it is supposed to serve but who sometimes lack the resources to navigate it alone. She says the best part of her job is being the person that a given client can lean on during one of the most difficult moments of their life.
Tell us about your day-to-day duties in this role.
Ensuring client satisfaction through regular communication, coordinating the retrieval of medical records and billing statements, assembling comprehensive demand packages, investigating and general case management and administrative duties.
What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
“Always remember that these are people, real people going through a tough time and you have the
opportunity to help them.”
