Information Technology: Director of Technology, Langdon & Emison
Christopher A. Emison is the go-to trial director option for Langdon & Emison’s biggest trials, managing all aspects of the firm’s audio-visual needs at trial. Even when engrossed in a multi-month trial, he still handles all the firm’s other IT needs. He set up remote workstations for all 80 employees’ post-lockdown, oversaw the transition to a new case management system and assisted in creating a digital webinar series that was the highest-rated of its kind among plaintiffs firms for 2021.
Tell us about your key accomplishment(s) in this role.
I am most proud of the direct impact of being part of our case and trial teams.
What led you to choose a career in the legal field?
I have always had a passion for electronics, and the legal field has rapidly embraced technology.
What is something that would surprise people about you?
I was an intramural Wallyball champion while at Northwest Missouri State University.
