That’s Sarah Williams’ role at Brown & Curry. “Utilizing the skills I acquired during twenty years in the restaurant industry, I have found that working at a law firm requires the same sense of urgency, constant juggling, re-prioritizing and multi-tasking,” she said.
What led you to choose a career in the legal field?
After wrapping up a 14-year stint as a co-owner of a restaurant, a surprise offer over drinks led me to Brown & Curry. Upon realizing that the offer wasn’t merely a side effect of the cocktails, I jumped at the opportunity. With the support and mentorship of a great paralegal and attorneys, I jumped in with both feet, grateful for an opportunity to learn on the job.
What is the best part of your job?
The work we do here is important and meaningful, and I love the investigative side of things and piecing together a narrative.
