Bob Thompson has practiced complex business litigation for 36 years, earning a reputation as what he called “a tenacious but honest opponent.”
He has represented a component parts manufacturer in a two-week arbitration against a major aircraft manufacturer, resulting in an award of over $28 million, and represented an executive in a compensation dispute that recovered more than $7 million after an employer refused to honor an oral promise of an ownership stake.
Thompson served as managing partner of his firm’s Kansas City office and has been an active supporter of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. Representative clients include National Beef Packing Company, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and INTRUST Bank.
