Our Publications

For more than a century, our county newspapers have served as papers of record for the local courts, the legal and business communities and local citizens. The St. Louis Daily Record began publishing in 1890. The Countian, serving St. Louis County – and, more recently, Jefferson  County – traces its roots to 1881. The predecessor to the St. Charles County Business Record dates to 1851.

From these deep historical and community roots, we’ve grown St. Louis’ and the state’s largest legal news and information service. Between these publications and their cross-state counterpart, The Daily Record Kansas City, we are the largest Missouri publisher of public notices – vital information affecting hearth and home, life and death and the community at large.

Add the resources of our statewide flagship, Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and we comprise the state’s largest and most expert legal news operation. We report on the business of law and the people’s business, in the form of enterprise coverage of the courts, politics, government, real estate, general business and more.
