The has formally named its 2011-12 slate of officers.

Lynn Ann Vogel will serve as the president of the organization until next September. Patrick Starke is president-elect, and P. John “Jack” Brady as vice president.

The election came Wednesday at the end of the board’s meeting, held at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center hotel in Kansas City.

Suzanne Bradley, a member of the board, praised Vogel’s varied career, which has ranged from a variety of positions with state agencies in Jefferson City to her current partnership in her own firm in Clayton.

“She’s practiced law in every way,” Bradley said.

Starke was elected last year as vice president in a three-way race for the position. This year’s vice presidential race was uncontested.

Carol Chazen Friedman, who formally nominated him, praised his “strong moral compass.”

“He will lead this bar with all his might,” she said. Brady is expected to rotate into the presidency in two years.
