An associate circuit judge and two commissioners were nominated for a circuit judgeship on the St. Louis Circuit Court.

The 22nd Circuit Judicial Commission on Wednesday selected Associate Judge Christopher E. McGraugh, Family Court Commissioner Anne-Marie Clarke and Drug Court Commissioner James E. Sullivan to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Thomas C. Grady. All three hold law degrees from Saint Louis University.

The panel was drawn from 20 applicants who were interviewed over two days. According to a news release, the five-member commission gave four votes each to McGraugh and Clarke, and three votes to Sullivan.

Gov. Jay Nixon has 60 days to name one of the three to the bench.
