Lathrop Gage expands with office in Dallas

Lathrop Gage announced on Jan. 17 that it has expanded into Texas with the opening of a Dallas office.
The new office is led by Robert Thackston, formerly a name partner at Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young, a law firm with offices throughout the country. Three other Hawkins Parnell attorneys joined Thackston in Lathrop’s Dallas office.
Three additional former Hawkins Parnell attorneys joined Lathrop’s existing office in Los Angeles. All focus on toxic and mass tort litigation.
Cameron Garrison, managing partner of Lathrop Gage, said the firm was excited to expand in Los Angeles and to join the booming legal economy in Dallas.
“While we have targeted Dallas for potential expansion for some time, we waited until we identified a significant and sustainable opportunity that fits with our strategic plan and our firm culture,” Garrison said. “This is that opportunity.”
