Allison Schreiber Lee draws on her early experience in prosecuting child-abuse cases in her current specialization of high-net-worth asset and custody disputes.
Schreiber Lee earned her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1996. Early in her career, she spent four years as a prosecutor in the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office.
She later joined a team of Lashly & Baer litigators who represented Missouri hospitals in a suit claiming that cigarette makers should cover the cost of hundreds of millions in treatment for patients with smoking-induced illnesses.
It ended in a 2011 defense verdict after 12 years of litigation and a trial lasting two-and-a-half months. She then transitioned to Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal’s family practice.
Her current practice attracts clients in complex divorce cases that require working through mental health challenges, addiction, and alleged child abuse. She draws from her background as a former child abuse prosecutor to advocate on behalf of clients who want to protect their children from abuse as well as clients who are wrongly accused of physical and sexual abuse.
As of October 2022, Schreiber Lee joined Sandberg Phoenix as a shareholder.
