The POWER List 2022: Allyson Cunningham
Staff Report//November 28, 2022//

Companies shut down class actions alleging PFAS and nuclear waste exposure and contamination claims with counsel from Ally Cunningham, who also defends and dismisses multi-plaintiff tort claims as they arise.
Cunningham is regularly tapped to represent companies facing Price-Anderson Act lawsuits, including a putative class action alleging radioactive exposure caused widespread damage and illness.
Cunningham also defended a manufacturer of chrome-plated plastic automotive parts in a class action in which PFAS showed up in plaintiffs’ blood serum along with property damage and remedial claims. Multiple claims were dismissed before extensive discovery and other litigation work caused the case to be dismissed early.
She also won dismissal for a national waste management company in multiple federal court actions facing claims that residual nuclear waste leftover from the Manhattan Project had caused cancers and other personal injuries in St. Louis residents.
Cunningham earned her law degree in 2012 from the University of Missouri.
