Bob Blitz, who helped bring the Rams football team to St. Louis in 1995, played a key role in winning a $790 million settlement after their departure.
Blitz represented the Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority, which operates the arena the team used before it decamped to Los Angeles. The authority, along with St. Louis City and County, reached the massive deal with the NFL in late 2021.
Blitz also was part of the team of private attorneys who helped Missouri counties secure a $183 million share of the state’s $458 million settlement with opioid manufacturers in 2022.
