Where appellants challenged the adverse grant of summary judgment in a defamation case arising from a letter sent by respondent’s board and opposing appellant’s nomination for a candidate of the board during a contested election, the record established that the allegedly defamatory statements were either constitutionally protected statements of opinion or were substantially true, so the judgment is affirmed.

Judgment is affirmed.
