22nd Circuit Judicial Commission announces demographic info in Hattenbach vacancy

The has released the demographic information for the 25 candidates vying to fill the left by the retirement of Judge Bryan L. Hettenbach.

Hattenbach was appointed as a circuit judge in the City of St. Louis in 2008. He obtained his JD from the University of Missouri.

Of the applicants, the commission reported eight are female and six are minority applicants. Nine presently work in the private sector and 16 are employed in the public sector. The applicants’ average age is 47.04.

The commission plans to hold public interviews for this vacancy, as well as the Peebles vacancy, on Oct. 1 at 8:45 a.m. in the Division Courtroom of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, 815 Olive Street in St. Louis.
