Supreme Court to hear gun, LGBT, voting rights cases in next term
Fresh off a momentous term, the high court already has a slate of important cases set up for its next term that begins in October on issues including guns, voting restrictions, and a disputed detention policy.
Supreme Court says gay, transgender workers protected by law
The court decided by a 6-3 vote that a key provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 known as Title VII that bars job discrimination because of sex, among other reasons, encompasses bias against LGBT workers.
