36 seek two judicial vacancies in St. Louis

The 22nd Circuit Judicial Commission plans to interview 36 applicants who hope to obtain one of two judgeships in the St. Louis Circuit Court.
The commission plans to conduct public interviews with applicants March 13-14 at the Court of Appeals Eastern District Courthouse in St. Louis. A panel of three nominees will be selected for the vacancy left by Judge Robin Ransom‘s appointment to the Court of Appeals.
Once Gov. Mike Parson has made the appointment, the commission will meet again and select from the same group of applicants another panel of finalists for the retirement of Judge Mark H. Neill.
The applicant pool comprises 17 women and 19 men. Ten applicants are minorities. Twenty work in the private sector and 16 are in the public sector. The applicants’ mean age is 47.30.
