Finalists picked for judicial seats in St. Louis County

The 21st Circuit Judicial Commission has announced three candidates each for two judicial openings in St. Louis County.
For the circuit bench vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Thea A. Sherry, the commission nominated Jason D. Dodson, Joseph L. Green and Renee Hardin-Tammons. All three are associate circuit judges in St. Louis County.
For the associate vacancy left by the recent elevation of Judge Richard M. Stewart to the circuit bench, the commission picked Seth A. Albin, Matthew H. Hearne and Diane M. Monahan. Albin and Hearne are in private practice; Monahan is a family court commissioner in St. Louis County.
The six candidates were chosen from two pools of 30 applicants, including some who applied for both vacancies. Gov. Mike Parson has 60 days to make the appointments.
