Last year, Taylor was made a name partner alongside firm founder and fellow POWER List honoree Mandy Kamykowski. Her practice focuses on the representation of hospitals, physician groups and individual physicians and nurses.
Her work includes both litigation and non-litigation matters. She defends complicated medical malpractice cases, including a 2019 case in Phelps County in which a jury sided with a surgeon on a woman’s claims that she was injured during a sinus operation. In 2016, she defended a surgery center from a man’s claims related to complications after surgery on his Achilles tendon.
She also advises health care providers on day-to-day legal issues ranging from compliance with patient-privacy laws to responding to licensing boards and government investigations to risk management.
Taylor earned her law degree from Saint Louis University in 2007. She previously was with Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale. Her professional involvement includes membership in the American Bar Association’s medicine and law committee, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.
