Lauren Tucker McCubbinLauren Tucker McCubbin will be sworn in as The Missouri Bar president in September.

McCubbin earned her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003. She served as a law clerk for Missouri Supreme Court Judge William Ray Price Jr. for a year before joining Polsinelli. The hospital was ordered to pay at least $161.9 million to fulfill obligations to the Kansas City-area health system it had purchased a decade earlier.

In 2011, Missouri Lawyers Media named McCubbin in its Up & Coming Awards. In 2014, she began serving on The Missouri Bar’s Board of Governors and that same year, she served as president for the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations.

Prior to being elected as president-elect, McCubbin served as a vice president on the Young Lawyers Section Council.
