Sandberg Phoenix combines with St. Louis firm

Sandberg Phoenix has merged with Affinity Law Group, a small St. Louis law firm.

Sandberg said the successful combination, which it announced on Feb. 19, expands the firm’s merger and acquisitions, commercial finance, employment, real estate and estate planning practices. The combined firm will continue to be known as Sandberg Phoenix.

Affinity’s managing member, Kathleen Bilderback, joins Sandberg’s business practice group, while Jason Kinser joins business litigation. Angela Brandt and Sienna Johnson also are joining Sandberg Phoenix.

“Affinity’s combination with Sandberg Phoenix allows us to provide our clients with next-level resources and support, expanded practice areas, and enhanced technology. We are looking forward to contributing to the strategic growth of the firm,” Bilderback said in a press release.

Sandberg CEO Bhavik Patel, in the release, called the Bilderback and her team a natural fit for Sandberg Phoenix.

“She not only led Affinity with similar values and client service but is also a strategic leader and excellent attorney. With the expertise of her team, we will be able to better serve our clients and expand our offerings while maintaining the level of integrity and values-driven service our clients and members expect of us,” Patel said.

Sandberg employs approximately 200 attorneys.
