Marty Meyers famously represented the family of a young man who was tortured to death by Kansas City serial killer Robert Berdella, winning a $5 billion award in 1992.
His employment trial successes include a $525,000 verdict in 2017 for a pharmacist who was treated as if she were disabled due to a medication she was taking, and a $270,000 verdict for a Muslim school secretary who faced discrimination.
In 2022, he played a key supporting role with fellow POWER List honorees Dennis Egan and David Lunceford in winning nearly $7 million for a former sheriff’s deputy who claimed he was forced out of his job.
