As leader of Norton Rose Fulbright’s U.S. health care practice, Stacey Murphy represents academic medical centers, medical schools, hospitals, physician groups and other health care entities and advises on regulatory compliance and corporate governance issues. She is also partner-in-charge of the St. Louis and Denver offices.
In 2023, she played a key role in representing Wellstar Health System in its acquisition of Augusta University Health System and the Medical College of Georgia while structuring a long-term affiliation agreement. As part of the acquisition, Wellstar agreed to invest up to $797 million in the healthcare system over the next 10 years.
She earned her law degree from the University of Texas in 1989.
