Jane Drummond serves as general counsel and vice president of legal affairs for the statewide trade group for Missouri’s hospitals. She provides a range of legal services and support for the MHA and advises the organization and its affiliates on health care compliance issues. She also acts as a liaison to legal professional groups that are involved in health care law and policy.
Drummond began her career as a member of the health law and employment law practice groups at what is now Husch Blackwell. She left the firm in 2005 to join the administration of Gov. Matt Blunt, where she served as general counsel to the governor’s office. She later was general counsel of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, then served as the agency’s director from 2006 to 2009.
Prior to joining MHA in 2014, she was a partner at Schreimann, Rackers, Francka & Blunt in Jefferson City. She earned her law degree in 2001 from the University of Missouri.
