Top Managing Partners 2023: Ruben K. Chuquimia

Polsinelli, Office Managing Partner, St. Louis

Ruben Chuquimia was named the new office managing partner of Polsinelli’s third largest office earlier this year, following former office leader Jane Arnold’s appointment as co-chair of Polsinelli’s business department.

Chuquimia has been a shareholder at the firm for more than 11 years. He has served in several leadership roles across the firm, including a recent three-year term as a member of Polsinelli’s board of directors.

Chuquimia, who focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, has helped numerous companies navigate the intricacies of an initial public offering or a sale to a public or private corporation. He previously served as vice chair of the firm’s securities and corporate finance practice group. He also is a member of the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion committee.

He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. His community involvement includes service on the leadership board of the Arthritis Foundation of Greater St. Louis.

Chuquimia earned his law degree from Washington University in 1995.
