Garnishee moved to quash plaintiff’s writ of garnishment. Plaintiff had obtained a default judgment against defendant in his class action lawsuit. In support of its motion to quash, garnishee argued that it was located outside the judicial district and thus the court lacked jurisdiction.

Where the court could not garnish the property of a corporate entity located outside the judicial district, the court lacked jurisdiction to grant plaintiff’s writ.

Defendant’s motion to quash granted.
