Bryna Edwards provides legal guidance across civil litigation, employment law, family and domestic law and elder law through the lens of banking. With 13 years of practice, she collaborates with departments throughout the organization on regulatory compliance and legal matters.

Edwards earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Kansas State University in 2007 and her JD from Washburn University in 2010. During law school, she worked as a retail teller at Intrust Bank in Topeka, Kansas, from 2008 through April 2011.

Following graduation, Edwards served as a law clerk at Smith & Turley from May 2011 to May 2012 before joining Central Bancompany in June 2012.

“I think the most important aspect of my role is to develop strong relationships with our employees, so they trust me to navigate legal situations that present in their work,” Edwards said. She emphasized that prioritizing time remains her greatest challenge, as each employee’s legal issue requires her full attention.
