Nominees selected for 22nd circuit judicial vacancy

The 22nd Judicial Commission selected three nominees for the governor’s consideration to fill a .

‘s candidate will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David C. Mason.

The nominees are Nicole Colbert-Botchway, Catherine Dierker and Tanja Engelhardt.

Colbert-Botchway is an associate circuit judge in the city of St. Louis. She earned her law degree in 1996 from Saint Louis University.

Dierker is also an associated circuit judge in the city of St. Louis. She graduated from Washington University School of Law in 2017.

Engelhard is an assistant circuit attorney. She obtained her J.D. from Saint Louis University in 2000.

The three candidates were chosen from a field of 21 applicants, per the commission.
