Judicial commission announces candidates for Southern District vacancy

The Appellate Judicial Commission announced the 10 applicants vying for a judicial vacancy with the Missouri Court of Appeals Southern District in a news release on March 25.
Of the 10 applicants, four are female and none reported being minority applicants, according to the commission. Six applicants are employed outside of the Springfield area, eight work in the public sector and two work in the private sector.
The applicant’s average age is 46.5 years.
The commission said it will interview all 10 applicants who include:
- Joshua B. Christensen
- Brendon J. Fox
- Raymond M. Gross
- Joseph L. Hensley
- Heather L. Miller
- Jerel Lee Poor II
- Heather L. Rooney McBride
- Josephine L. Stockard
- David T. Tunnell
- Amy S. Westermann
Interviews are scheduled for 8 a.m. April 21 at Hotel Vandivort in Springfield.
