Staff Report//September 7, 2017//
Lathrop Gage has named Courtney (Court) M. Landon as its chief operating officer.
Landon replaces Bill Migneron of Kansas City, who is retiring as the firm’s COO after 10 years at Lathrop Gage and more than 30 years in the legal industry.
Landon, who is based in Lathrop Gage’s Chicago office, joined the firm last year as its chief financial officer. He previously served as practice group operating officer for Quarles & Brady’s transactional practice groups. Landon is a certified public accountant and earned his law degree from Chicago Kent College of Law.
“Court brings significant past strategic and operations experience to his new role and a strong record of success enhancing our finance function since joining Lathrop Gage,” Lathrop Gage CEO Mark Bluhm said. “He is a great choice to replace Bill Migneron, who blazed a trail to increase focus and understanding of operational functions within law firms.”
