Gov. Mike Parson named Andrew Bailey as general counsel for the Office of the Governor, effective March 1.

Bailey has served as deputy general counsel since April 2019. He previously was general counsel for the Missouri Department of Corrections, an assistant prosecuting attorney in Warren County and an assistant attorney general. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri in 2013.

Bailey succeeds Christopher Limbaugh, whom Parson recently named as a Cole County associate circuit judge.
