Lewis Rice, St. Louis

Mathis a founding director of the St. Louis Area Health Lawyers Association. She also previously chaired The Missouri Bar’s Health and Hospital Law Committee and was president of the Missouri Society of Healthcare Attorneys from 1994 to 1997. She also is involved with the American Bar Association Health Law Section and the American Health Law Association.
From 1999 to 2002, she was an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University School of Law, where she taught courses in health care transactions.
Mathis has been with Lewis Rice, where she is a member, since 1998. Previously, she was with Thompson Coburn. She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri in 1982.
