Douglas Lee is a shareholder in the estate planning practice group of Carnahan Evans, a top-tier tax, business and corporate law firm in southwestern Missouri co-founded by fellow POWER List honoree John M. Carnahan III.
His practice includes estate and special needs planning, guardianships, trust and probate administration, and probate and trust litigation. He is the co-author of “Trust Contests,” part of a Missouri Bar Deskbook.
Lee formerly served as treasurer of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and is a member of the Greene County Estate Planning Council.
He also is a former board member for the Springfield-Greene County Library Foundation and was a member of the Leadership Springfield class of 2004-2005.
Lee earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas in 1995 and his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996.
