Albus, previously the leader of Husch’s private wealth practice, recently took over as head of its Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit, one of the six major divisions into which the law firm is organized.
She began as summer associate at Husch in 1998 but interrupted her legal career to serve as an FBI agent. She returned to the firm four years ago and became a partner in 2020. Based in St. Louis, she is part of The Link, Husch’s fully virtual office.
Albus’s practice includes complex estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies, as well as income tax planning and asset protection strategies.
She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University in 1999. She also is a certified public accountant.
