Gov. Parson announces four judicial appointments to circuit courts

Gov. Mike Parson announced four judicial appointments to circuit courts on August 2. These appointments included the 13th Judicial Circuit, the 19th Circuit, the 22nd Circuit and the 27th Circuit.
For the 13th circuit, Parson appointed Benjamin J. Miller as circuit judge. Miller currently serves as the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney and received his JD from Regent University, according to a news release. He is filling a newly created position in the circuit.
Christopher K. Limbaugh, an associate circuit judge in Jefferson City, was appointed as circuit judge for the 19th circuit. Limbaugh obtained his JD from the University of Missouri and is also filling a newly created position.
In the 22nd Judicial Circuit, Patrick E. Richmond, of St. Louis, was appointed associate judge. Richmond is an associate prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County. Richmond, who earned his JD from Saint Louis University, is filling the vacancy left by the appointment of David A. Roither to circuit judge.
For the 27th Circuit, Blane Baker, of Lowry City, was appointed associate circuit judge for St. Clair County. Baker is currently a partner at Baker Law Firm and obtained his JD from the University of Tulsa. According to the release, he is filling the vacancy created by the death of Jeremiah J. Rellihan.
