Injured driver reaches settlement in confidential proceedings

In a confidential settlement, a Missouri driver injured in a motor vehicle collision will receive $1 million for their injuries.
The settlement was reached in early December 2025, said Chesterfield plaintiff’s attorney Chris Lang of Nichols Lang & Hamlin, who provided a redacted check to confirm the settlement amount.
All other details of the settlement remain confidential, he said, including the identity of the other driver, their counsel and insurer, as well as the details of the collision.
