Evans & Dixon gains Iowa office

Evans & Dixon has added a 9th office with the acquisition of a firm in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
As of Jan. 1, the Smith Peterson Law Firm, which serves Iowa and eastern Nebraska, joins St. Louis-based Evans & Dixon. Smith Peterson, a four-attorney firm founded in 1908, handles legal matters ranging from personal injury to business and commercial law.
“We are confident that this will fortify our position as a leading player in the legal industry and allow us to better serve the evolving needs of our diverse clientele,” Evans & Dixon said in a statement.
The new office complements Evans & Dixon’s existing practice in Omaha. The firm also has offices in Kansas and Illinois.
